I now see why people travel to the Disney parks. Their precision and efficiency is amazing. Here are just two of many things I noticed yesterday. First - there is no trash on the ground....none. I bet a piece of trash doesn't stay on the ground for more than 30 seconds before someone picks it up. Second, after Erin had her makeover, EVERY cast member (their name for employees) called her Princess. Even after she changed out of her dress, they still called her princess. All day.....every employee. Needless to say, she enjoyed it!
The makeover was wonderful. They treated her like a princess. She got her hair and nails done, a princess dress, a wand....and a bunch of other stuff!
Jen really did a great job of planning Erin's first day. About 30 minutes after her makeover ended, we were seated for the Lunch with the Princesses. It is a restaurant in the castle, right across from the boutique where her make over was. She got to meet 5 Princesses. As everything else at Disney, it was very well done.
After the lunch, we rode rides for the rest of the day. We hopped on the monorail for about an hour, and Erin took a nap. We stay until the park closed. Saw an Electric Parade, and the Disney fireworks. It was a great first day of Disney.
What a fantastic day! I want to be a princess! Yes, Jennifer is a great organizer.
